This Privacy Policy explains how Enlighten Publications collects and uses personal information when you join the early reader list or visit the early reader landing page.

1. What information we collect
When you join the early reader list, we collect your email address. We do not ask for your name, postal address, phone number, payment details, or other personal information on this landing page.
We may also collect basic information about how visitors use the landing page through Google Analytics, such as page views, device type, browser type, approximate location, and how visitors found the page. This information is used in aggregate and is not intended to identify individual readers.
2. How we use your email address
We use your email address to send:
• advance reading copies of selected Enlighten books;
• supporting reader material, such as concise summaries and visual overviews; and
• occasional review reminders relating to books you have received.
We do not use your email address to send unrelated marketing, upload advertising audiences, or sell your information to anyone.
3. Lawful basis for using your information
We use your email address because you have asked to join the early reader list and have consented to receive emails connected with that list. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.
We use basic website analytics to understand whether the landing page is working effectively and to improve it. Where analytics cookies or similar technologies require consent, they should only be used in line with the choices available on the page or browser settings.
4. MailerLite
We use MailerLite to collect and store subscriber email addresses and to send early reader emails. This means your email address will be processed through MailerLite’s systems on our behalf.

5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the landing page. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect usage information. This helps us see, for example, how many people visit the page and which sections are useful.
We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual early readers. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through any cookie controls shown on the page.
6. Reviews on external platforms
If you choose to leave a review, you may be asked to do so on Amazon or, in the future, another book review platform such as Goodreads. Any review you choose to publish is handled by that platform and will be subject to its own privacy policy and terms.
You do not have to include personal information in a review unless you choose to do so.
7. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only where needed to operate the early reader list and landing page, including with MailerLite for email delivery and Google Analytics for website measurement.
We may also disclose information if required by law or if necessary to protect our legal rights.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to the early reader list. If you unsubscribe, we will stop sending you early reader emails. MailerLite may retain limited records where needed to manage suppression lists, prevent accidental re-subscription, or comply with legal obligations.
We may periodically review the list and remove inactive or outdated subscribers.
9. Unsubscribing
You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. You can also contact us at privacy@enlighten-publications.com and ask to be removed from the early reader list.
10. Adults only
The early reader list is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Your data protection rights
Under UK data protection law, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to ask for a copy of your data, correct inaccurate data, ask for data to be erased, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
